Sometimes we have to understand the process. Sometimes, a great year for a hitter or pitcher in MLB is simply that: a great year and that's it.

Often happens.

And we see it often because it is the Major Leagues, the highest level of baseball in the universe. To continue making history on baseball's biggest stage, you simply have to be one of the game's greats. Or, of course, have most of everything that is needed and develop your talent. I mean, there are players from whom you can't expect more than a flash.
