Well, Adolis Garcia hit two huge home runs (his 19th and 20th of the season) tonight over the Green Monster at Fenway Park, powering the Texas Rangers to a 9-7 in 10 inning victory over the Red Sox.
The first home run was a 413-foot bomb to left center, which tied the score at 2-2 in the top of the sixth inning. The second, a 102.9 mph explosion that brought the Rangers within 4-3 in the top of the eighth inning. Yes, both home runs were solo, and that's what really led me to wonder how many times this had happened. Two solo home runs, I don't think is one of the nicest milestones for a hitter.*
