Well, Adolis Garcia hit two huge home runs (his 19th and 20th of the season) tonight over the Green Monster at Fenway Park, powering the Texas Rangers to a 9-7 in 10 inning victory over the Red Sox.

The first home run was a 413-foot bomb to left center, which tied the score at 2-2 in the top of the sixth inning. The second, a 102.9 mph explosion that brought the Rangers within 4-3 in the top of the eighth inning. Yes, both home runs were solo, and that's what really led me to wonder how many times this had happened. Two solo home runs, I don't think is one of the nicest milestones for a hitter.*

*The leader in games with at least two home runs among Cuban hitters in MLB was José Canseco, who completed the feat 36 times. Rafael Palmeiro followed him with 34, and Kendrys Morales was a little further away with 22.
