No one will hit more than 2,400 hits, combining more than 2,000 walks, more than 350 home runs and more than 850 extra-base hits.
No one will get on base more than 4,700 times again.
No one will receive 400 intentional walks again.
No one will play at least 25 seasons and maintain an OBP above .480 again.
No one will do all that as a switch-hitter again.
So, therefore, there will be no other player who will achieve the milestones that Frederich Cepeda has achieved in National Series. Beyond his impressive records, there are two reasons why no one will catch up to Cepeda: Time and consistency.
When we talk about great players in the history of the National Series, almost all of them are linked to a long time shining as stars of the league in which they were characterized by extending their consistency. With the league's losses in each period during the last two decades, many of the veteran players have extended their respective careers.
