Last Monday they asked this interesting question on MLB Network: who has been the White Sox center fielder with the best WAR in a single season since 1947?
When I heard the question, it was inevitable to quickly think of the Cuban Luis Robert Jr. But, before investigating, I suspected that Robert Jr. was not the answer. So it was. Tommie Agee's 6.4 WAR season in 1966 was the right answer. However, it was clear that the hook of the question was to bring Cuban Luis Robert Jr. into context. And, of course, you have to imagine the reason: yes, the rumors that the Atlanta Braves could be interested in Robert Jr.
