I know I'm going to love the spirit of Cuban baseball when I can get there to follow it from one end of the island nation to the other. I especially feel that way now that you've told me about "the pergass of aerated soft drink" and "the empanadas." I love empanadas! I'm hoping I can have that Opening Day experience in the 62nd National Series next year. I'm going to spend this current season studying all your columns, as a good way to prepare myself. Play ball!
